La mancanza di conoscenza è la prima causa di quella paura economica tanto penalizzante.
Oggi affrontiamo un tema particolarmente importante in campo economico: la paura. La paura in economia e, più in generale, nel mondo lavorativo è quasi sempre una sensazione indotta che porta a scelte sbagliate. Il più banale degli esempi è quello dell’investitore che davanti ad una flessione del mercato, per paura, disinveste concretizzando la suddetta perdita.
La paura che però si diffonde in maniera più subdola e dilagante è quella indotta verso aspetti che non conosciamo. Nel tempo ci sono state propinate una serie di parole di cui abbiamo ignorato l’esistenza per anni e che hanno iniziato a suscitare in noi una certa apprensione. Se qualcuno oggi parlasse di voler finanziare un progetto per lo sviluppo ed il sostegno dell’ISIS verrebbe subito denunciato come terrorista. Questo anche se il suo riferimento fosse stato per l’Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore oppure per l’International Satellites for Ionospheric Studies. Allo stesso modo occorre procedere con la dovuta calma in campo economico.
La paura dello SPREAD si batte con la conoscenza e l’informazione.
La nostra vita oggi è scandita dai dati che ci giungono riguardo allo SPREAD o al rating del nostro Paese. Temi importanti, anzi fondamentali, ma è opportuno lo stato di ansia che generano in noi queste parole? Assolutamente no. In economia, a differenza della finanza, tutto è comprensibile, preventivabile e addirittura semplice da capire. Lo stato di ansia che termini tecnico-economici generano sono la più banale forma di suggestione che esista. La forza che occorre applicare in questo caso è quella che ci porta ad approfondire un tema per vederne i vari aspetti. Se tutti conoscessimo l’importanza di mantenere un livello basso di SPREAD non sarebbero necessari incontri e scontri su questo tema. Anche a livello gestionale la conoscenza porta ad eseguire analisi più accurate e dettagliate. Proprio per questo si rivela indispensabile, per un Paese che vuole prosperare, possedere una conoscenza economica diffusa e mediamente elevata.
Ricordo che da piccolo, quando mi svegliavo nel cuore della notte, mi capitava di avere paura del buio. L’unica soluzione che trovavo allora era quella di accendere la luce. In un attimo tutto era chiaro e la paura scompariva. Basterebbe accendere la luce della conoscenza per dissolvere i fantasmi di SPREAD e temi affini.
